IdentiPass Series 9000 Access Control
System
Monitor thousands of cardholder activities, check on the status of
alarms in a single building or in several different locations,
control elevators, even create color security ID badges... all
from a single location. The Series 9000 is a powerful Windows® 95
PC-based system combining graphics and badge-making capabilities.
And it's easy. Just "point and click" to perform a variety of
operations.
Operate a complex security system of PCs that are simultaneously
running spreadsheets, word processing programs and others. If an
intruder enters the building or if the basement suddenly begins
flooding, an alarm will sound at the PC, regardless of which
program you are running.

The Series 9000 offers an auto-dial remote modem that permits your
PC to communicate to a remote 9000 panel — even one in another
state. Alarms can occur in four situations: critical alarms, a
card swipe causes an exception, a duress code is activated, or the
transaction buffer is getting full. The auto-dial program includes
diagnostic messages to notify the operator of the situation.

Because of the 9000's distributed database, each panel is itself a
powerful micro-computer that buffers transactions and makes
intelligent decisions... even if the PC goes down or is
accidentally turned off. The system allows users to add
capabilities as they are needed, starting with as little as a
single two-door panel that can easily expand to accommodate other
panels and readers as operating requirements change and grow.

You may choose from a variety of card reader technologies,
including economical magnetic stripe, bar code, Wiegand, proximity
and keypad, mixing and matching various readers on the same
system. For example, the Series 9000 easily accommodates proximity
readers for convenience in the parking lot and magnetic stripe
readers installed throughout your building.
And the Series 9000 is fully compatible with IDenticard's IVIS
Plus 2000 video imaging system through an optional serial
interface package.
