Remembering Founder of Accutronics Inc.
June 10, 1938 - October 13, 2009

Margarito P. Garza, age 71, passed away on October 13, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born on June 10, 1938, in Prairie Lee, Texas to Miguel and Ruth Garza and served 15 years in the Army National Guard and reached the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Considered an Icon in his industry, he was for over thirty six years, the successful business owner of Accutronics, Inc. He was involved in many local and national business organizations. He served as President of the Texas Parking Association, National Time Equipment Association, and National Office Machine Dealers Association. He has served on the board of Alamo Work Source Development and SER Jobs for Progress and the Westside YMCA.

Mr. Garza loved to play golf and truly enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren, especially their trips to the coast every summer. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalen, Holy Spirit Catholic Church and St. Matthew Catholic Church, where he coached for his children and later his grandchildren. Many of his friends referred to M.P. as the “Godfather,” which was a reflection of the great love and respect they all shared for him. He will be sadly missed by a large extended family, his employees and many friends.

His daughter, Rachelle Garza-Gonzalez will continue his successful legacy with Accutronics, Inc.
