AI1200 READER
The AI1200 reader provides an operational link between tagged objects and host information management systems. ThI1200 receives a demodulated signal from the radio frequency (RF) module, decodes the identification (ID) information, validates the ID code, and transmits the code along with any appended information to the host computer system. It also performs control operations specified by the user through reader commands.

FEATURES:
Standard 32K RAM memory holds approximately 2,000 ID codes without appended information and 1,000 ID codes with additional information appended. The optional 32K memory extension doubles this capacity
Configured at the factory for dual-channel multiplex operation. Optional single-channel operation is also available
Supports TransCore's AR22XX & AR26XX RF modules w/ either single channel or dual-channel multiplex operation
Control operation of external equipment such as gates or signal lights connected to the reader's status output terminals.

AI1620 SMARTPASS
The AI1620 SmartPass is an antenna, radio frequency (RF) module, tag decoder, and power supply in one integrated package. The unit is supplied with a pole-mount bracket specifically designed for controlled traffic lanes. SmartPass generates an RF signal that is reflected from an Amtech RF identification tag. SmartPass then decodes the tag data carried by the reflected signal. This data is transmitted to a local host computer for processing.

FEATURES:

  • Reads tags formatted to a wide range of industry standard proprietary formats, including SIA Wiegand 26-bit standard format. Custom Weigand 26- to 54-bit (inclusive) formats can be developed to match identification card formats used by existing security systems.
  • Allows selection of high or low RF output power based n each site's requirements, giving the user a choice of battery-free or battery-powered tags
  • Reads a variety of Amtech® tag models, including full-frame (128 bits) and half-frame (64 bits) tags
  • Uses the same communications protocols and most command and status message codes as TransCore's AI1200- and AI1300-series readers
  • Designed for quick, simple installation and testing by trained, authorized personnel

AT5100 TollTag
The AT5100 TollTag is a radio frequency (RF) field disturbance device specifically used in applications with Amtech reader systems. The AT5100 encodes the signal received from an Amtech reader system with an identification number or a data message. The encoded signal is reflected (backscattered) back to the Amtech reader system.

FEATURES:

  • Stores up to 20 six-bit alphanumeric characters of data (120 bits), factory programmed and laser etched as specified
  • Indefinite service life because circuits are energized by a small portion of the RF signal
  • Uses the RF beam to energize tag circuitry, which limits tag range.
  • Reduces competition with other tags in nearby areas and enhances system discretion within 0.6 to 3m (2 to 10 ft.) diameter reading area
